The furnishings in this room were given by Mr. Oscar F. Miller in memory of his grandfather A.J. Riddle, who is reputed to have been the proprietor of the old Cuba House (Bedingfield Inn) many years ago.

The Brewster rocker, circa 1730, is constructed so that women could sit comfortably while wearing a bustle on each side.

The acorn post dresser mirror has acorn finial side posts.

The brass bed warmer with wooden handles is located next to the fireplace. Hot coals were placed inside. Then the warmer was rubbed over the bed for warmth and the coals returned to the fire.

The sampler over the bed is dated 1820.

This room concludes the Virtual Tour.
